Patitz was one of the most successful models of her generation, gracing the covers of countless magazines and walking the runways for the world's top designers. She also appeared in music videos for artists like George Michael and Peter Gabriel. In 1993, she starred alongside Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's film "Ed Wood."

Sadly, Patitz passed away in 2020 at the age of 53 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, filmmaker Ringo Starr, and their two children.
